About the Ministry
Vision
A community of Catholic individuals, families and communities renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit, worshipping together the Father of Love under the Lordship of Jesus Christ - the Way, the Truth and the Life, and witnessing to the Kingdom of God in our daily lives, and committing to serve the Church and the People of God, with the maternal guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and the inspiration of St. Pedro Calungsod’s evangelistic witness to martyrdom, our Patron in evangelization.
Mission
As renewed and empowered individuals, families and communities in fulfilling Jesus’ mandate to “go and make disciples of all nations,” (Mt. 28:19), do commit:
To establish and facilitate ministries, programs and activities for authentic renewal, convicted and empowered Christian way of life.
To conduct liturgical, religious and devotional programs and activities for a meaningful life of faith, and harmonious spiritual relationship among individuals, families and communities.
To bring the face of Jesus to the world by authentic witness to the Gospel among individuals, families and communities.
To welcome the challenge of mission in going out to the whole world and make all nations Jesus’ disciples; and E. To fully support the ministry in all its needs and plans towards effective and life-giving work of evangelization.
Message from the Founders
Hello, good morning. My name is Bro Gil and my wife Cecille, we are graduates of MERS #3 of the Fount of Living Waters Outreach Ministry and one of the founders of SILOAM. The founders of SILOAM were products of FOLWOM, Fount of Living Waters Outreach Ministry a religious corporation that was declared defunct by the State of California, so on Nov. 16, 2013, 19 of us had a day of prayers and discernment retreat at Grosvenor Hotel in So San Francisco where a decision was made to start a new ministry for the New Evangelization after reflecting on the context of Vatican II, theological perspective of Popes Paul VI, John Paul II and Benedict XVI, history of Catholic Charismatic Renewal, its elements and values for evangelization in the church, we came to a united declaration of our readiness and commitment to start a new ministry and ended our affiliation with FOLWOM.We prayed over, discern and reflect what name we will give the new ministry and from the eight (8) names suggested, through secret balloting, a new ministry was born, SILOAM FAMILY OUTREACH MINISTRY, inspired from the gospel of St. John 9:7 where a blind man was sent by Jesus to the Pool of Siloam (Sent) for healing. In obedience, he went and was healed. He received two miracles from Jesus: SIGHT & FAITH. This is where our ministry is gearing unto: “to go and make disciples of all nations” (Mt. 28:19) We go to bring healing and faith to all people. We call ourselves “SILOAM COMMUNITY”. As a registered religious corporation in the State of California under article 501:C3, “SILOAM FAMILY OUTREACH MINISTRY, INC.” We have a IRS Tax Exemption number for tax deductible donations.We envisioned ourselves as stated in our Constitution and By-Laws: “ A community of individuals, families, & communities renewed by the power of the Holy spirit, worshipping together the Father of Love under the Lordship of Jesus Christ- The way, the Truth and the Life, witnessing to the Kingdom of God in our daily lives and committing to serve the church and the People of God, with the maternal guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the inspiration of St. Pedro Calungsod’s evangelistic witnesses to martyrdom.We have 4 active ministries: Ministry of Discipleship, headed by Bro. Gil Mateo; Ministry of Community chaired by Sis Tess Garza; Ministry of Stewardship, chaired by Sis Sonia Rosales and Ministry of Mission & Corporal works of Mercy, headed by Bro Ferdie Orozco.We do Marriage Enrichment Retreat, Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar weekly prayer meeting, Bible study, Couple Support Group, Outreach in the Los Angeles area and Las Vegas Nevada doing Marriage enrichment and Life in the spirit Seminar, International Outreach Ministry in the Philippines, in the provinces of Bataan, Quezon and Zambales. We do hope and pray that we will continue our spiritual journey together. God bless.

The 30th Annual Convention of the Filipino Catholic Charismatic Communities
April 23-24, 2016 at Vallombrosa Retreat Center in Menlo Park
After our membership with the FCCC was approved, it's about time for our Ministry to move forward and meet other Filipino Catholic Charismatic groups in this Annual Convention. The Experienced that we had was awesome. Fr. Ken Geraci was simply amazing as a Retreat Master speaker. The Music Ministry which includes some of our talented members was rocking holy every time they sing! We are looking forward in attending the next Annual Retreat by April of 2017. Overall, we were all blessed as we joined our Brothers and Sisters in different Communities during this 30th Annual FCCC Convention.

The Siloam Family Outreach Ministry was commissioned by Rev. Fr. Angel Quitalig (FCCC Spiritual Director) as one of the newest members of the Filipino Catholic Charismatic Communities during the FCCC General Assembly at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Daly City.

Rey Reyes, Rev. Fr. Angel Quitalig, Rev. Fr. Paul Gawlowski, Rev. Fr. Veto Perrone, Rev. Fr. Joe Landi, Deacon Frank Moreno and Most Rev. Msgr. James Tarantino. The Siloam Family Outreach Ministry Choir were so blessed to led the morning Praise and Worship. To God be the Glory and Praise!
